Pediatric Dentistry
Our dentists at City Center Dental Clinic believe that a life-long relationship with the dentist should begin with the child. We aim to provide a pleasant and comfortable experience that fosters both a child’s trust and positive feelings about dentist visits and oral care. We pride ourselves on having patients that have seen us as children and now bring in their children.
Emergency Dental Services (Treatment of Dental Trauma)
We also provide emergency treatment for the relief of pain, swelling, and suffering due to fractured teeth, infection or injury. Our dentists will respond to all types of emergencies in a timely manner. When your health is at risk, we will do everything possible to make sure you are treated as soon as possible.
Implant Tooth Replacement
Implants have become a desirable option over other methods of replacing missing teeth. They have excellent success rates and offer a range of available options to treat and replace lost teeth. They can pass as natural permanent teeth without a trace quite easily, except in an X-ray. The implant itself appears as a titanium screw or cylinder that is fixed to the jawbone and gum tissue to make a stable base for a dental crown or bridge. We provide a variety of implant options and treatments to create optimal patient dentition for proper function and amazing aesthetics.
Oral Surgery (Simple and Complicated Extractions)
Although we aim to preserve your original teeth, there are instances in which they may need to be removed in case of extensive damage or infection. During our oral surgery procedures, we provide our patients with compassionate care and focus on having a comfortable and pleasant experience.
Oral Sedation
Fears and phobias of the dentist or dental procedures can be managed by oral sedation. This will allow the patient to receive the dental care they require in a relaxed manner. Our dentists use these techniques for any type of dental procedure, depending on the needs of the patient.
Nightguards (Bruxism Appliance) / TMJ Dysfunction
At City Center Dental Clinic, our dentists do a thorough assessment of patients who are having signs and symptoms of bruxism and TMJ dysfunction. They are focused on identifying the contributing factors and causes of these conditions and develop a comprehensive plan to treat these patients.
Orthodontics (Space Maintainers) / Sports Mouthguards
Orthodontic appliances such as space maintainers, tooth repositioning appliances and custom sports guards are treatment options provided by our clinic to be used by patients as preventative treatments. These are custom appliances made by taking impressions and then made in a laboratory.
DEXIS™ CariVu – (Transillumination Caries Detection)
City Center Dental Clinic offers an alternative to X-rays for the identification of caries or fractures in teeth. DEXIS CariVuâ„¢ is a portable caries detection device that uses patented transillumination technology by positioning a wand to hug the tooth and illuminate it in safe, near-infrared light. The enamel appears transparent while porous carious lesions appear dark. Live images can be captured by pictures or videos. This tool is amazing for its detail and clarity and allows a less-invasive diagnostic alternative.
VELscope® Oral Cancer Screening
The VELscope® Vx is a handheld device that is used by our dentists to help visualize oral tissue abnormalities, including cancer and pre-cancer. It is applied as an add-on to the head and neck exam.
It emits bright blue light in the mouth and causes the soft tissue of the mouth to naturally fluoresce if healthy, and visibly disrupts the light (looks dark) when tissue undergoes an abnormal change such as inflammation, dysplasia, or oral cancer.
